Gran Slam Meet up and Masterclass

Emerging older poets are invited to polish up your performance skills with guidance and top tips from all-round legend of Australian spoken-word and Project Manager at Red Room Poetry, David Stavanger.

This masterclass is targeted at previous Gran Slam participants and new curious minds over the age of seventy, who are interested in improving their slam performance delivery skills and already have some basic experience.

Bring a short piece (no longer then 2mins in delivery) that you would like to explore further.

The workshop is supported by Red Room Poetry, a national organisation dedicated to making poetry in meaningful ways, as part of their National Poetry Month in August.
