Have you ever heard the expression “Shake it like yo’ Grandma taught you!”?

We have a better idea! It’s time to shake it WITH Grandma and Grandpa.

As part of this year’s Bleach* The Gold Coast Festival, we are hosting a special school holiday workshop for the young and eternally young at heart.

We’re inviting 5 – 8 year olds with their over 65-year-old grandparent/s or important elder in their life to join us on the dancefloor for a fun and joyful workshop where age is left at the door.

Whether your favourite move is a two-step or the twist, boogie woogie or the whip nae nae this is your chance to hit the dance floor together and get down!

You’ll shake and shuffle your way through decades of party anthems as well as spin some stories from important moments in time.

Accessible for all experience, bodies and mobility. All you need is enthusiasm to participate.
